European Version of All-New Mitsubishi “i” Electric Vehicle Earns an Impressive 4 Star Rating in Euro NCAP Crash Testing

Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc., (MMNA) welcomed the news today that the European-spec Mitsubishi i-MiEV – a nearly identical version of the 100% electric-powered Mitsubishi “i” model that will launch in the United States later this year – has received an outstanding 4 star rating in stringent crash testing performed by Euro NCAP, a multinational vehicle safety testing consortium in Europe.

The Mitsubishi i-MiEV was the first all-electric production car that was put through the rigorous crash testing program overseen by Euro NCAP.
